CU 800 It does contain copper metal which is highly conductive. The CU800 could be used
on battery cable connection with the battery post , where it will help prevent corrosion, and help with
conductance, but more for preventing corrosion.
On multiple pin connectors Dielectric Grease Art#:0893844100 is recommended especially to help waterproof the electrical connections.Dielectric Grease has a high dielectric strength and is an insulator which does not conduct electricity.
Another commonly used product is Stabilant 22A art 0893522 this product is an electrical contact enhancer
this applied to the pins and mating surfaces will provide conductance between mating surfaces , but is non conductive between adjacent pin, this product can maintain good electrical contact reduces fretting and loss of conductance due to vibration and where over time.
