That is a very good question. The Main difference between our Brake Cleaners has to do with
State VOC ( Volatile Organic Compounds ) restrictions, There are 100% VOC versions which is restricted in 19 states. low VOC 45% versions which is restricted in 9 states, 10% VOC brake cleaners which is sold in California but is restricted in some areas and the 0% Brake Cleaners which is 50 state compliant and can be sold into all areas of California.
Products which are restricted have a compliance tab which shows the state which they cannot be purchased.
Generally the 100% VOC brake cleaner tends to perform better ... But not always, In testing some customers preferred the 10% or even the 0% VOC versions.
Brake cleaners are sold in aerosol cans, 1 gallon 5 gallon 30 gallon and 55 gallon containers.
performance of aerosol can could be different than that of the liquid version depending upon how they are applied.
